LifeLinks - Who Are We
LifeLinks is a limited liability company that began in 1995 under the parent company, Compensation Advisory Services Ltd.
LifeLinks works with people in an advisory or assessment role.
We pride ourselves on being a people focused organisation with a shared passion for working alongside those who have disabilities.
Beginning from a small team of 1, our staff now total over 50.
By mid 1995, 10 staff worked throughout the South Island.
We cover all disabilities with the exception of age related. Our staff come from a wide range of backgrounds, with a variety of skill bases.
Of our staff, 18% have been with the company for more than 6 years and some have been here for almost as long as the company itself.
From its early days the company has always been run on the whanau principle.
Great effort is made to ensure that the working environment for our staff is friendly, comforting and welcoming.
This whanau principle is reflected by our clients’ and visitors’ reaction on arriving at our doorstep.
We are a very robust organisation. Strong policies and procedures ensure that our focus is on the quality of the service we give to our clients as well as providing a safe and healthy place for our staff.
LifeLinks was gifted a taonga (treasure) by Mrs. Ruruhira Williams (Aunty Lu) and Mr. Tosh Ruwhiu. This came about after a long Hui where we talked about the overall philosophy of LifeLinks and the client focused holistic process of our work.
Nga Oranga Mekameka
The literal meaning is about life and wellness (Oranga) and chains, linking and joining (Mekameka).
