Mission Statement
Providing people who have disabilities with the highest standard of service in ways
that best suit their individual needs.
We are a private company contracted to provide Needs Assessment and Service Co-ordination
( NASC) for people with disabilities (and their families) living in Canterbury,
South Canterbury and the West Coast.
There is no cost to the individual for our service.
We have the following 3 contracts:
- Ministry of Health contract to provide Needs Assessment and Service Coordination
for people who have an intellectual, physical, sensory or neurological disability
(or a combination of these) and their families living in Canterbury, South Canterbury
and the West Coast.
- District Health Board contract to provide Needs Assessment and Service Coordination
for people with a diagnosed psychiatric, alcohol and/or other drug condition (and
their families) living in Canterbury and South Canterbury.
- Regional Intellectual Disability Care Agency (RIDCA) contract to provide Needs Assessment
and Service Coordination for people with an intellectual disability whose behaviour
poses serious risk or physical harm to themselves or others. These behaviors may
have resulted in the person not being able to access mainstream services or in a
breach of the law.
